Man, they TOTALLY blew me away, that was a true powerhouse performance.
That singer is one odd looking duck though, holy moly... she? looks like a very strange looking man in drag... but does she ever have soul, its practically seeping from her pores, what a voice, i'm not even sure who to compare her to... a mix of Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin maybe? Glad i remembered to record the show, i'll be watching it again a little later today |

SNL needs to give up the live skits and focus on digital short type work. The commercial and movie parodies, and the original shorts are bar none the best parts of the show. nearly every one makes me laugh, whereas the skits average MAYBE one a show at best.

The one I watched had Justin Bieber as the host and came just after the Super Bowl. Crap and I meant to record this one too. Did they do any Marco Rubio skit?

The only skit to top was right afterwards, Olya from rural Russia. There's a thread in the media center with more details.

And for me, Tippy came out of nowhere, because Nasim Pedrad has been, other than her hilarious Kardashian, pretty forgettable. But Tippy's "or something" *eyebrow raise* *eyebrow raise* was comedy. |
