I'm not suggesting that Hunt was unaware of the actions. He'd have to be blind and deaf for that to be accurate. I'm asking whether or not it influenced his decisions or not, and if it did, how much.

No real way of knowing of course, BUT...his whole life he's watched Chiefs fans just be fans...this year was STAGGERINGLY different. If nothing else, he HAD to take into account the pissed off fan base. Even NFLN was mentioning it this morning, saying that the Chiefs have historically had a very passionate fan base but that the fanbase was seriously upset and beat up over this last 4 years. They didn't mention SOC, but who else would they be talking about? Certainly not Barry'sDumbAss...

If you think the banners and black shirts had NOTHING to do with it, you're being terribly naive.

yep; this wasn't just some online petition etc;

this was fans forking over money in droves to fly banners; make/buy t-shirts; organizing effort etc.

I think the blackout was a huge shot to the nuts for Clark.

No matter how detached Clark Hunt is, 20,000 likes on Facebook... that's not something that goes unnoticed.

Well, I suppose it's good that that isn't what I'm saying. Some people just seem to be under the opinion that SOC had a significant impact on Hunt's decision without tangible reason to believe that.

But, like I said earlier, I think it would be really neat if it is learned that it did.

The interview he did with KCTV? The other day Coleman asked him about the fans and mentioned the banners. Clark did not respond directly to the banners but he didn't ask WTH Coleman was talking about either. So he knows what went on.

BTW, why are we giving this dickbag Barry any face time here?
