You could just use natural kraft paper for a fraction of the cost. 1200 feet 24" wide $30. https://www.zoro.com/zoro-select-kra...l5/i/G1857651/

Have you been to a BBQ joint that uses it other than to wrap meat for takeout?
Also have you ate at Rudy's?

And Yeah, I've eaten at Rudy's. A few times. Their pulled pork is soupy, and I wouldn't be surprised if their bbq is shipped in frozen in bags. It's fast food bbq, bro. |

Ok you dont like Rudys thats fine. I ate at one and found it fine what now? So Timbone doesnt want anyone to eat there much less know it exists. You had pulled pork in Texas Budnot a good idea as beef is king there. Another thing is if you have ate BBQ in KC most likely your going to be disappointed in even the most well known joints there. Hell 3/4s the people in CP thank Totino's is a good option in pizza your probably one of them.

I'm glad not to be in the Simply Red's Totino's cardboard fan club. I like Home Run Inn before they decided to edge toward $10 for a frozen pizza, I bailed. Dish frozen, when I can find it, is good stuff too. I have a new BBQ in IN that is becoming a smash hit overnight with lines out the door daily and ribs selling out. Open for 3 hours a day with specials selling out early. I have missed the Friday "competition" rib plate and slab specials on Friday twice due to the line forming hours before opening.

That look like a poser box. I’m sure certified judge Becky from Leawood loved enough to Instagram it tho.

I smoke a brisket flat today for the first time in at least four years. I had to chase a dozen wasps out of the smoker. It is an offset firebox smoker. I smoked it at 300F for 3 hours, then finished it in a 300F oven wrapped in foil. Total cook time 4.5 hours plus an additional hour resting in a picnic cooler. Smokey, tender, moist. Much better value proposition than a 12 hour smoke at 220.
