Todd Marinovich used to evoke the worst QB memories for Raider Nation, but he should be thankful for Russell busting out at an unprecedented level as the No. 1 overall pick in 2007. He went 7-18, sacked 70 times during his career in Oakland with a 65.2 rating. He never looked the part of a franchise passer.

Nobody remembers Mark Vlasic and his impressive four interceptions in a playoff game.

The fact that there are so many different options for the chiefs is sad.

Wasn't Thigpen productive for us a few games during the brief time he was a Chief? I seem to remember him just chucking it to Tony Gonzalez every play no matter what. Which actually worked at times lol.

Tyler Thigpen wasn't bad. Poor take.
Both Palko and Quinn were much worse. |

There's no way this should be anyone other than Matt Cassel. No way at all.
Blackledge was disappointing, but he wasn't the worst. Palko wasn't really a starter. He was a backup who started a game or two. Brodie Croyle was wasted potential. Thigpen blows away these other candidates. Matt Cassel ripped every kitten from my world.
