I marked 6-10 since my car is 10 years old. We just got a new car for my wife since hers was 20 years old. We are holding that one for when my 15 year old gets his license.
We just run them until they die. |

My wife and I both have 2008's. We have started putting money away figuring in a few years we will have to replace one of them.

One of my buddies buys a brand new car, every single year. He's done this for about 9 years. He also got a 17 on his ACT.

I had an '83 Turbo Tbird that I bought with about 40K miles in '88. It was the biggest pile of shit that I ever owned. The turbo rattled and sometimes didn't work. It had a ton of electrical gremlins and would just randomly die on me while driving down the road. It was a nice looking car and was nice when it actually worked but that was so rare that I ended up taking a bath on it when I traded it in on a different car just to get rid of it.
I hope they were much improved by '87. |

I didn't read the poll very well and voted 11-15, but I had mistakenly read that to mean 2011 - 2015.

my first car was a 442.
..though, an '85 442. was mint condition; bought it from a guy in martin City for $3500. he was going through a divorce and needed cash fast. But in hindsight, was a dog on power. Had an electrical short somewhere that would leaving me playing roulette each time I went to start it / try to start it. Still loved it. Always loved that body style by GM; Grand Nationals etc. Always liked the Monte Carlo SS of that time frame. My 442 was sweet; black, t-tops. Just what a 16 year old kid needs. When I see a Monte SS now off on someone's property while driving, I'll say to my wife "look at that! that's bad ass!", and she looks at me like I'm crazy. lol
