I said this from the very beginning of the season this is our biggest problem area. Against good d-lines we get manhandled and can't run. Pitt game proved that after the first series. Gotta be able to run whether a d stacks the box or not. Our next area of need is finding that replacement for DJ whether FA or draft. The next area is our secondary. Still not satisfied and with Berry being too expensive we need to shore up our safety situation.

The Chiefs are designed to pass till running lanes open up and are trying to make it happen with a pussy at QB.
And Fulton sucks. Those are your reasons. |

I don't think this is going to happen. But the pros: Romo would have that same Manning/Favre chip on his shoulder to prove everyone wrong and might have a great year or two left in him.
Cons: Romo has actually always been good at keeping plays alive, but at 37 years old, I wonder if our offensive line would keep him upright against the top defenses. More importantly, would Romo even want to go to a place where he'd have to fight with a highly drafted rookie QB again? The first time he had a bad game, people would be calling for the rookie. I imagine he'd want to go to a place like Denver where he'd be the guy, no questions asked. All draft picks and FA signings would be geared toward making the team a winner, right now. |

It's about time for us to trash the Romo talk because he and his back wouldn't make it through winter in KC, and start to focus on the legitimate possibility of Dorsey's draft crush and Andy's possible next QB revitalization project in Johnny Manziel (who has recently begun training with George Whitfield again and has seemed to clean things up with his life and family). As long as we pair him with Mahomes in the 1st. |

i will say this. if there is any truth to the rumor that the kc brass is 'interested' in talking to romo, 1) alex knows he is gone 2) kc will definitely draft a qb this year. 3) remember it always takes a qb a year to get used to a new system.

Only problem with Tony Romo is hes 36 and injury prone.... I feel like Jerry Jones is trying to hard to sell everyone with Romo with that whole "romo will be playing in a superbowl" line...
However, if tony Romo could be Good Tony Romo who cant get hurt for 4-5 years so till hes 41, Id be fine with bringing him here. Hes an upgrade over ALex smith, and we are paying alex 17million, tell Romo we pay him 18 since he probably wont get more than that from other peeps |

His contract is ridiculous (3 years and $54 million left, with a cap number over $24M this coming season AND next). There's no way that guy commands a crapload of picks. If Belichick truly wants a 1 and a 4 for Garop, I doubt the 'Boys would get more than that for a guy who's 36 and injury-prone and never won a big game.

Let Romo go to Denver.
He will get injured and out for a season again and Denver will be hosed once again.

Alice Smith was a mistake. Maybe we could Trade Green Bay for Sharon Rodgers?

I agree Romo is made of glass at this point in his career, he will be hurt again within 6 games and we'd be in the cellar. I can't believe some of these idiots want a qb who is about to hang them up in exchange for a tough qb who will win you the division and possibly a Superbowl with the right pieces around him. Some people are just blinded by the Alex Smith hate that they can't see that he is not the only person who lost that game against the Steelers. Get it all out haters, come next year Alex Smith will be our qb and you can go back to predicting another 8-8 season.

If we trade for Romo......we'd only be paying him $14M next year. $19.5M in 2018 and $20.5M in 2019.
