"When the headphone jack was removed, Apple realized it was easier to install the new Taptic Engine for the pressure-sensitive Home button, implement a bigger battery, and reach an IP7 water resistance rating, so the elimination of the headphone jack became essential for all of the other features in the iPhone 7. If they wanted a bigger battery, why not just let the phone be a little thicker? It's so thin that the camera has to stick out from the back (again, other phones have the same issue). Battery is my #1 biggest complaint about smartphones, and I'd LOVE for someone to just make a phone that is a tiny bit thicker but has solid battery life. I can't speak to the impact of a pressure-sensitive button I guess. Seems like it's not so big of a feature that it would trump "compatible with the most ubiquitous plug in existence," but I guess time will tell how useful it is. |

I have never met anyone with those preferences. I didn't get the larger screen with the 6 generation since I thought it would be too big but did with the 6s and was a pretty great upgrade. Thinner makes it easier to fit in your pocket and hold as well.

I love the iPhone SE. I thought the iPhone 5 was the perfect size for me. Easy to use with one hand without having to stretch up and over, or use that stupid double tap home button thing that seems to **** up a ton of apps. |

This. I just do not get the craze for mini tablets. If I want or need a bigger screen I'll grab my iPad. A mobile phone should only require one hand to use.
