Want to make a move for Peyton
Fantasy has been pretty good to me so far this season. After a slow start, I'm currently sitting in first in both record and points. The only real weakness on my team is the QB position. I've had Foles/Newton since the beginning and picked up RG3 last week. After the injury to Foles, I also put in a waiver request to pick up Sanchez. Obviously, this situation is less than ideal, but I don't hate that Cam's week 15 and 16 matchups are at home against Tampa Bay and Cleveland.
Anyway, the guy in our league who has Peyton is in next to last place at 3-6. However, he is not out of it as there are 5 teams at 4-5. While his record is largely due to being #1 in points against, his team is also largely devoid of talent outside of Peyton, Jordy Nelson and Antonio Gates. So I'm wondering what people might think would be a fair, but beneficial trade for me. My team: (10 team league, no PPR, no bonuses, no IDP, no keeper, 4 team playoff, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 W/R/T, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Def) QB: Newton RG3 (waiver claim for Sanchez) RB: Forte Ellington Ingram (2 week waiver pickup whose value will only go down from here) Rainey (1 week waiver whose value will only go down, dropped if I get Sanchize) Rashad Jennings (Just stashed him as potential future flex play) Knile Davis (Just in case, knock on wood) WR: Demariyus Thomas DJax Golden Tate (Value heading down) TE: Gronk Kelce (scared Gronk will get hurt) K: Parkey Def: Rotating His team: QB: Peyton Tannehill RB: Denard Robinson Reggie Bush CJ2k WR: Jordy Nelson Decker Wheaton Bowe TE: Antonio Gates Heath Miller K: (2 kickers, both on byes this week, wtf?) Gostkowski Vinatieri Def: KC NE He's just got some huge holes. I figure I can toss off quite a few overvalued players and offer him some kind of 4 for one deal that could realistically improve both our teams. What say you? |
