Herm.
We took a PS WR and used him as an Option QB. Huard begged out of the game after one quarter. Thigpen made an ass of himself, as did the entire run defense.

In all sincerity, Kevin, it was as embarassing a game as I can remember watching, and for your sake, I really hope you WERE on a plane for the duration of this turd game.

Did your plane fly through the Bermuda Triangle? Because I have this funny feeling that something isn't right. I'm dead certain I was supposed to live in a Universe where the Chiefs were perennial favorites to win the Super Bowl.

So did Huard get hurt or what? And what's the deal with the mystery quarterback? I don't understand.

All of the above would be the most correct answer; however the head coach deserves a special place at the front of the short bus.

Huard got intercepted and lost his courage. Hasn't found it yet. Last I saw of him was meandering down a yellow brick road.

The QB, whatever his name is came in at random times in the game. All the plays that he ran were some variation off the threat that he might run. Option runs, option passes. Think "Slash" revisited but with a guy that isn't that athletic and no experience running an NFL offense. |

Most of us have never heard of this clown either. QB options abound but too bad Herm and his flunkies telegraphed they were going to be "imaginative" every time they brought in "Slash -1.0". It's sick, but I could feel, while Herm and his coaches were making complete asses out of their selves calling these plays, our entire coaching staff thought they were actually out smarting the NFL with their slickery.

We looked worse than an expansion team. Carl and Herm need to be fired immediately. Gaileys playcalling looked exactly like Solari's. I believe he is Hermcuffed. We need new leadership badly.

I must confess, I'm rather staggered by this turn of events. I've known that Herm is a horrible head coach since the Indianapolis game last year, but I've never heard of a coach who is working on his fourth quarterback by the second game. It appears that Herm Edwards is not just charting new territories of incompetence, he has sailed his ships to discover an entire new continent of incompetence.
