Somebody hit me with a pair of shoes today.

I was walking through the downtown park where a lot of reefer addicts hang out today, coming back to my office from a meeting. As I was walking, all of a sudden I saw incoming when it was too late to avoid it, and a pair of high tops thunked hard into my ribs.

One of the reefer addicts apologized profusely. He was throwing them at someone and accidentally hit me. I stared at him for a second and kept walking.

That was probably the most notable part of my day.

I also saw a 3D printer for the first time today, which was kind of cool. That's a different thing than the shoe thing.

Has anyone here been in a fight where a pool cue was used, and is it really an effective weapon?
i walked out of a bar restroom once and ate the big end from about the upper left corner of my forehead and down at an angle where it went right between my eyes. I saw it when it was about 6 inches away, hadn't had words with the guy at all. I had a 2.5 inch gash on my forehead almost to the bone, took 3 tubes of super glue and some butterfly bandages to get it closed. I dont remember anything until i was sitting back at the bar with the police there. They told me i didnt go down and pulverized (their words) his face. He left in an ambulance i went home. I had the aforementioned gash, an approximately 3 inch wide 6 inch long lump, two black eyes.

Fun times

LOL "reefer addicts"

Do you find it hard to keep your pants up over your diaper while you simultaneously use a walker to go grab an Ensure from your ice box?

I have a small scar on my left cheek from one. It's the only time I went to the ground in a bar fight. Actually, it wasn't much of a fight. I never saw it coming and it knocked my lights right out.

I'm finding this thread to be of value. I've learned that pool cues are legitimate weapons and I've learned how to manufacture sex toys from raw materials.

I hope it was an educational experience for you.

I prefer something more gentlemanly yet makes the neurosurgeon laugh when he sees the imprint left behind from this.

How about a pool cue?

I'm really surprised at how common pool cue fights are. I'm very seldom in a place that has pool cues, much less in that place when a fight breaks out. But maybe this has something to do with the fact that I don't drink.
