I cant stop watching and sharing this, just out of interest and playing Devil's advocate if this happened to a WR in the middle of the field do you think it would draw a flag?

I was going to say that it was a good thing that Carr didn't go to Crabtree as he was wide the hell open, but DJ was just all over that play. It's like he knew Crabtree wasn't getting a look due to the pressure from Dee Ford, and the guards swinging out was all he needed to see to know where it was going. That's a ton to process in the span of two seconds. Amazing.

And yeah, 66 owes that running back an apology.

Probably depends on the receiver, unfortunately

I think it's very possible. I believe DJ's shoulder did get a lot of helmet.

Probably because is was a designed screen and if he went to Crabtree, it would have drawn a flag for the linemen being down field.

Yep, good call. Hudson would have been the one flagged.

if you find the lengthier version of this - I think it's important to mention that DJ's teeth show 4 seconds (or so) after the hit. It looks like a Dat Ass meme.

And you're a dumbass.

I've also read the NFL uses DJ to show how they want players tackled.

Not counting the year he got hurt, imo he's been the most consistent mlb playing a 3-4 the past 5-6 years.

Yes, it would've been a hit on a defenseless receiver. Someone smarter than me may be able to explain why it isn't so in the backfield, but that RB never had a moment to prepare for the storm headed his way.

Johnson was an outstanding draft pick for Dick Vermeil. One of the very very few.

I remember that draft vividly. I was literally praying that he'd fall to us. He did, and we drafted him. The rest is history. I literally jumped out of my seat and ran around the house cheering him like I did when Stoyanovich hit that 53 yard FG to beat Denver. It was awesome.
