Your evidence for them being overrated is one bad playoff game after 162 games of relative dominance with a great roster.

I just never thought they were that good. Tulo has been terrible, and they eviscerate AL East ballpark and pitching. Big deal

They were actually better against the Central (20-14) and the West (19-13) than the AL East (42-34). And Tulo, despite not hitting up to his career levels, has been a massive upgrade on the previous shortstop as he can actually field a groundball.

I get that you hate them, but the "Jays are overrated" argument has no real basis.

I hate to break it to you, but the team losing a short playoff series in baseball (whether it happens now or later) isn't really going to prove your unsupported point either. It happens to the best of them. That's why the top teams in this sport usually only have about a 20% shot at winning at all.

My interest in that series and this thread is entirely dependent on what the Royals do though.

I understand baseball ... I get it. The best team rarely wins the World Series. It's a totally different season once postseason hits ...

I just never bought into the Blue Jays hype. They are the very definition of a paper team. Easy to pick on shit pitching to bolster your HR numbers in hitter friendly parks in the regular season ... let's see what kind of BASEBALL team they are now that the stakes are at the highest.
