Don't underestimate the ReidSmith's ability to lose, or Dorsey's resolve to solve problems.

Cook isn't as good as you think he is. Shits down his leg in the pocket a lot and tends to just wing it into the second level more often than not just relying on his arm versus actually letting the play develop.
Dude has some question marks. If you are drafting on elite tools to develop, Hackenberg is the best option this next year for the position. (However, he's absolutely stalled in terms of his understanding of the game.) You want a guy who is a relative dark horse right now, but will be really moving up by the end of the season? Carson Wentz, North Dakota State; 6'5", 225 lb. Pretty good athlete with a huge arm who has absolutely dominated the FCS level. Literally, he is a man amongst boys at this level. Excellent on the move, and has numerous 100 yard rushing games to go along with a big and accurate arm. IMO, a similar prospect to Joe Flacco at the same level with better athleticism. Could potentially end up as a first rounder like Flacco due to a 2016 QB class that's comprised at the top of a bunch of guys who have legitimate question marks about their game (Cook, Goff, Hackenberg). (Also, Goff, Hackenberg and Cardale Jones are juniors and might or might not declare.) Also, keep an eye on Memphis 6'6", 230 lb. redshirt junior QB Paxton Lynch, who has the Tigers at 4-0 and has four straight 300 yard games with no interceptions in 2015. |
