I'm getting redirected like crazy on mobile. I'm also getting this annoying CBS overlay that covers the entire page. I understand that you're selling ad space, but some of it is at the expense of the user experience of the site, which is both frustrating and disappointing.

I get it occasionally on iOS. It redirects you to some site wanting to sell you supplements. I sent all the info to austin chief a week or two ago and he said he would look into it.

Yeah for me on both my tablet and my laptop. I have not noticed a pattern with a particular thread, but it started immediately after I watched a video on here. It was either the sobbing proposal or another one that I can't recall right now. maybe it's a coincidence or maybe it's not but I posted about it when it happened.

Just had one pop up. I was in the playoffs thread. I don't know if it's helpful or anything, but I copied the link instead of just cursing and back-button pushing:

EDIT: It's a long, long link address, full of bullshit I don't understand.

A search on Google for "redirect http://lemode-mgz.com/" suggests a ton of forums have been hit with this - whatever it is. If anyone is bored and finds a solution posted somewhere, I'm sure that'd help Austin out as he's troubleshooting this.

I think it's an Adsense issue. I found references to it happening on multiple forum software platforms, so I don't think it's vBulletin or the core database that's been compromised. That also makes sense if Adblock takes care of it.

Wonder if there's some sort of updated code available.

It's been happening to me me for at least a week, possibly two weeks.

I see it most often on my iPad, but today I've seen it a couple of times on Google Chrome with Windows 7.

Sounds like Chiefsplanet is infected with malware. I don't claim to know enough about vBulletin to know how it gets infected with malware, but I just Googled "vBulletin malware", and I got a bunch of hits talking about this very thing.

I assume it's something to do with the ads or some form of content on this site. Happened to me a couple times. It's not doing this to me on any other website. I use Firefox.

Yep. I did a little more digging, and I think there are some ads getting through Google's Adsense that are somehow causing the redirect.

Austin should be able to block those sites at the account level, so if you get redirected, post any URLs that you get directed to (that haven't already been posted).
