Christmas is for the kids not for adults. We get each other stuff through out the year and she gets extra for her birthday. Until we got married, June will be 10 yrs, her birthday got blown off or she got birthday and Christmas together from all those that were around her before. Her birthday is the 15th of December.

We don't do gifts for each other. It's stupid and we both agree.

Used to skip Christmas and just sit the tax return 50/50 but I don't get much of a return if any lately.

I bought my wife an Eric Berry jersey. Both of her parents are cancer survivors, so it was a win/win. Supporting Berry while also repping the Chiefs.

We used to be big on Christmas toward each other, but over the past few years we've been fortunate to not really need or want anything. We both shrug when asked to produce a Christmas list, so we decided that it was just better to have a nice meal together and relax. We'll do some stocking stuffers, but that's all.

Whatever she wants, within reason.
This year it was a new stingray, I ordered her a scale die cast model. She picked it up yesterday at the post office. She came in the shop saying how much Bubba was gonna love it, I told her it was hers. She wasn't happy. Bubba is getting it, but she's still not getting a vette. Well she might be getting parts for the truck the vette motor is going in. It's part vette. I wonder how that would go down Christmas morning. Wiring harness, computer, under bed fuel tank... |
