Pankin style:
Why does Kansas City discredit legitimate voices in the unilateralism debate? Anger? Fear? Stupidity? Some deep shameless urging of its soul? The answer cannot easily be found, but we have to consider all of our options. Rather than attempting a representative sampling or making any pretense to comprehensiveness, this letter will focus primarily on the subset of its antics that champion censorship in the name of free speech, intolerance in the name of tolerance, and oppression in the name of freedom. As I noted at the beginning of this letter, some day, Kansas City's niddering, meretricious torchbearers may ask you why you think it's a good idea to deal with Kansas City's vile campaigns on a case-by-case basis. If you're too stunned to answer immediately they'll answer for you, probably stating that it's okay for Kansas City to indulge its every whim and lust without regard for anyone else or for society as a whole. You should therefore be prepared to tell these misguided hippies that Kansas City's obiter dicta are destructive. They're morally destructive, socially destructive—even intellectually destructive. And, as if that weren't enough, the problem with Kansas City is not that it's crotchety. It's that it wants to engender ill will. The purpose of this letter is far greater than to prove to you how rambunctious and craven Kansas City has become. The purpose of this letter is to get you to start thinking for yourself, to start thinking about how its anecdotes are an icon for the deterioration of the city, for its slow slide into crime, malaise, and filth. What I want to know is how many people have had their lives ruined by Kansas City. Dozens, unquestionably. Hundreds, very possibly. Thousands is not out of the realm of possibility. Regardless of the exact number, Kansas City's allegations are becoming increasingly power-drunk. They have already begun to subordinate all spheres of society to an ideological vision of organic community. Now fast-forward a few years to a time in which they have enabled Kansas City to teach the next generation how to hate—and whom to hate. If you don't want such a time to come then help me give direction to a universal human development of culture, ethics, and morality. Help me keep the faith. Finally, if you read through this letter and understood everything that I said, I would be proud to shake your hand. Even if you followed only a few points, I warrant that you are now a step closer to realizing that we must take a no-nonsense approach to dealing with postmodernist wantwits without the slightest consideration for any screams and complaints that might arise.

one more random pankin
I'm always glad to have the opportunity to speak openly, without fear of Kansas City twisting my words in a drossy attempt to drain our hope and enthusiasm. In the text that follows, I don't intend to recount all of the damage caused by its disloyal, hateful ruses but I do want to point out that the acid test for its “kinder, gentler” new ballyhoos should be, “Do they still put a clog on all attempts to limit Kansas City's power?” If the answer is yes then we can conclude that conspiracy theories are Kansas City's bread and butter, and the wilder, the better. Its most outré claim is that the federal government should take more and more of our hard-earned money and more and more of our hard-won rights. This claim sets a new standard for louche blandishments and shows how I'm not in the habit of giving advice to Kansas City's reckless loyalists. However, there's always a first time: You guys should stop creating a mass psychology of fear about an imminent terrorist threat. I admit I don't have much confidence that they'll follow that advice, but it's important to make it known that Kansas City doesn't want us to know about its plans to shower lazy, subversive blowhards with undeserved encomia. Otherwise, we might do something about that. While it's true that it is undoubtedly not conspiracism to suspect that Kansas City's commentaries are some of the most treacherous, paltry, and pesky I've ever encountered, it has yet to acknowledge that fact. Given the very real threat of Kansas City punishing dissent through intimidation, public ridicule, economic exclusion, imprisonment, and most extremely, death it is essential that we cross-examine its semi-intelligible epigrams. This is all well and good, but it calls all of my ideas superficial. Declaring ideas superficial does not make them so, especially because it is far from clear that Kansas City remotely understands what I'm proposing. I also don't think it understands that we should use our words to create understanding and progress, not hatred and division. Stated differently, Kansas City has repeatedly indicated a desire to prey on people's emotions of fear, envy, and resentment. Is that the sound of rarefied respectability that Kansas City's vicegerents so frequently attribute to Kansas City? The mingy blathering of a prolix blusterer is more like it. In fact, I urge you to pay very close attention to Kansas City's backwards, iscariotic false-flag operations. Once you do, I am in no doubt that you will see what the rest of us clearly can, that Kansas City uses itself as the gold standard or benchmark by which to measure all other organizations. Alas, that benchmark, just like imperial measurements versus the metric system, needs a conversion formula to make it decipherable. Let me help decipher it by pointing out that Kansas City presents one face to the public, a face that tells people what they want to hear. Then, in private, it devises new schemes to enable featherbrained bribe-seekers to punch above their weight. Kansas City is desperate to convince us that resistentialism can quell the hatred and disorder in our society. To achieve this goal, it has apparently decided it's more effective to “construct a counternarrative” (read: make up a story) than to look for anything resembling facts. This worries me because if Kansas City doesn't see anything wrong with using rock music, with its savage, tribal, orgiastic beat, to encourage the acceptance of scapegoating and demonization then perhaps it doesn't deserve all the support it's getting from us. Kansas City is secretly planning to wage a clandestine guerilla war against many basic human rights. I realize that that may sound rather conspiratorial and far-fetched to most people, which is why you need to understand that I do not have the time in one sitting to go into the long answer as to why in an accidental encounter last week with Kansas City's club, I learned that Kansas City should stop bellyaching and start healing itself. But the short answer is that when a friend wants to drive inebriated, you try to stop him. Well, Kansas City is drunk with power, which is why we must challenge its victim-blaming ideology. What does Kansas City have to say about all of this? The answer, as expected, is nothing. Let me end by saying that I know that what I have written in this letter will send many readers (especially any who are big fans of Kansas City) into a tizzy or a tantrum. I am sorry, but I remind them that Kansas City can't control its desire to have everything it wants and to have it now.

not sweet pickles of any kind oh and really REALLY good cheese theres this hamburger place called 'mikes at the crossroads' that used to make literally the best burgers ever...Mike put a big ass sign up that said 'Cheese SHOULD be on a burger...if you want me to take it off, its gonna cost you 10 cents" or something like that...It was hilarious to see people paying extra to take cheese off.
