in Denver Cherry Cricket is a great place for a burger. Sweet Action has fantastic ice cream. You'd probably enjoy a trip to Mt. Evans or Manitou Springs on the Bike, if you did Manitou you could also do Pikes Peak instead of Mt. Evans.

Anything to do with history is good..breweries and distilleries..places with good BBQ or burgers..I actually really enjoy zoos and aquariums..car and motorcycle museums..minor league baseball games are always good..military history..Wild West history
I'm pretty easily entertained..I also enjoy the low key places that aren't major tourist traps..if that makes sense |

Don't know about San Diego, but Denver.
You're riding a bike. Duh, gotta go Biker Jim's for a great wild game sausage. Crave if you want a crazy topped burger. Tocabe for an indian taco. Snooze for breakfast. get in line early. |

-Colorado History Museum Breweries: -There are like 150 in the Denver metro, and I haven't been to one I haven't liked. Distilleries: -Bear Creek Distillery is a nice, small place. -Stranahan's has great whiskey, and I've heard their tours are good, but I haven't personally been there. BBQ: -Eh, it's Denver, not KC. I think Boney's downtown is decent, and I've heard good things about Smokin' Dave's up in Westminster. Burgers: -Cherry Cricket or Park Burger Zoos and Aquariums: -Denver Zoo is great. Time your visit with the elephant demonstrations. -I'd skip the aquarium. I mean, it's OK, but it's like $18 and is probably worth about 1.5 hours at most. Car and Motorcycle Museums: -Forney Museum of Transportation Minor league baseball: -No, but we've got the Rockies. It's a great ballpark, and tickets are pretty cheap (you can easily find a spot for $20-$30). Military history: -Wings over the Rockies (more about general aircraft stuff than strictly military) |

Morrison Inn for good Mexican food, very good margarita, sitting outside in the scenery of Bear Creek, CO. Then ride 2 miles down the road to check out Red Rocks the most beautiful natural amphitheatre in the world.

we did Denver Nature & Science and it was one of the best I've ever been to. Second on skipping the Denver aquarium, I read poor reviews and very expensive. Wings over Rockies was okay, but if you've been to any small air museum it's more of the same.
Was very underwhelmed by Biker Jims and Snooze. I'd recommend Syrup over Snooze.

SD has the best zoo in the country, by most accounts. There's also the SD Zoo Safari Park, which is supposed to be cool, but I haven't been yet. SD is the best beer town in the country, IMHO, and Denver's not far behind. Since you're on the bike, I'd suggest ubering to North Park, then walking the taprooms and beer bars - Modern Times, Waypoint Public, North Park Beer Co, Toronado, Mike Hess, Rip Current, Tiger! Tiger!, Blind Lady Ale House. If you want a more upscale experience, head to the flagship Stone brewery in Escondido - really beautiful beer garden, good food, and lots of beer. |
