Free VPN is not a good idea. If the product is free, you are the product. Hard enough to find a good pay for provider, but I'd trust the RIAA and MPAA with my information before I trusted a free VPN service.

He can set up his own VPN.
Use Hamachi or OpenVPN. Edit... BTW if he's going to set up his own, he needs an "always-on" computer to serve the VPN that his other devices will connect through (ideally his own home server). If he doesn't have that, then he needs to buy a plan through a 3rd party server farmer like Private Internet Access, ProXPN, TorGuard, etc. |
