I missed Brazile, Beathard, and Kramer, which was a bummer because I was interested in Brazile and Kramer.

Rumor has it that Beathard traded away his second-round speech for an eighth-round speech.

Brian Urlacher's wife is going to have back trouble some day, and Urlacher is spending all of his money on her teeth whitening. It looks like it's worth it, though.

I'd give Urlacher a D+ on the speech. Other

Brian Dawkins named his first two children Brian (male) and Briani (female).

Emmitt Thomas dealt with Dawkins when he was considering suicide and got credit for saving Dawkins' life.

I'd give Dawkins a B. Good solid speech, and he gave his wife a nice gold shawl during the ceremony. He also mentioned putting the names of people he's thankful for into his jacket so he'd think about them when he put it on. Pretty clever move.

They're closing out the ceremony with Randy Moss, Terrell Owens (in absentia), and Ray Lewis. I would advise you to stay away from the television. I have a welder's mask and gloves on, and I'll report what I see.

Randy Moss entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday night, and with the spotlight on him Moss took an opportunity to make a stand. Along with his gold enshrinement jacket, Moss wore a black tie with the names of 12 black men and women who had been killed by police.


Moss did not speak about his tie during his Hall of Fame speech, but explained the decision behind wearing it in an interview with the NFL Network.

“What I wanted to express with my tie was to let these families know they’re not alone. I’m not here voicing, but by having these names on my tie, in a big platform like the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there’s a lot of stuff going on in our country and I just wanted these family members to know they’re not alone.”

Moss, now serving as an NFL analyst for ESPN, hasn’t shied away from showing his support for social justice causes since leaving the NFL. He has recently been retweeting examples of racial inequality, as well as amplifying Shannon Sharpe’s tweet about the hypocrisy inside sports when it comes to how white athletes and black athletes are treated by the public.

Randy's speech is done. I give him a C-. He had a rather angry and rambling style. He deserves a spot, though, so that's fine. Not a great speech at all, but no policewomen were run over.
