Dontari Poe became the biggest man in NFL history to score a rushing TD

Dontari Poe ran for a TD. At 346 pounds, Poe surpasses Refrigerator Perry (335) as the heaviest player ever to run for a TD. (Via @pfref)

I think I would just get out of the way-like the Chargers did. They wanted no part of it.

This play was a tone setter. Chiefs said- excuse us, but we are going to kick your ass up and down the field today, and there really is not a damned thing you can do about it, sans 4 cheapshots and a whole lot of by Rivers.

The stuff of nightmares, to be sure, but he also got airborne! I think I'd rather have him plow into me than fall on me, too. That's gotta hoit!

Poe is bigger than Perry.

Perry was a monster in his day. And a fatass. Poe is heavier and more athletic. That's crazy to think about.

The remarkable thing about that play is that it fooled no one. None of the defense seemed to even look at West.

He WAS gigantic. The guy I always think of when it comes to stuff like this is John Hannah. All world guard, selected in the 1973 draft, he ended his career in 1985. 10 all-pro selections, made the all-decade team for both the 1970s and the 1980s, and selecting as a starting guard on the NFLs' 75th anniversary team, SI had him on its cover asking if he was the best OLineman ever.

http://alabama.247sports.com/Article...-Hannah-186457

Playing weight? 265.

There is barely an OLineman now under 300. 265 is more like "big TE or Middle linebacker" size. Gronk is 265 (albeit at 6'7" or whatever, compared to Hannah's 6'2").

So "Fridge" Perry, at 335 or whatever, was huge. Perry and Hannah both played in Super Bowl 20 (1985), though Fridge was a Perry that year, and Hannah was in his last year.

If that attempt had failed Rerun would have 50 threads about how stupid Reid was.

Sometimes good plays don't work. Me I like the gamble and unconventional warfare.

Have been waiting for that play since last season when there was a report that they had worked it up. Have wondered more than once why we never used it.

These football players nowadays are getting bigger and bigger.

Soon that 400 lb fatass from Baylor might enter the nfl and break this record
