Netflix Help
so, is there a way to reset your preferences on Netflix streaming?
My problem is, I've watched a bunch of documentaries and standup specials of late, but now Netflix (in all its wisdom) on seems to offer me about 80% documentaries and stand up specials compared to movie options. When I switch profiles to my wife's profile (that I just creatd) there are a **** load more movie options. On my profile, the only movie s that show up are crappy movies that are 10-20 years old for the most part. Whereas my wife's profile has a lot more. I know I could just use her profile for the time being, but I suspect Netflix intelligence will just start doing the same thing as it did to my profile if that makes sense. Is there a way to reset your profile? I'm missing a ton of movie options. Anyone experience this? |

Can't you go through and delete all your favorited stuff on your list? That might open up selections a bit more. I've noticed that Netflix tends to pigeon hole your choices based on what you've previously watched...

Go to your account settings, and edit the info in your profile. Your recommendations are based on your Taste Preferences settings, and your Ratings. I'd suggest either removing your existing documentary ratings, or go and rate a bunch of movies of the type you'd like to see recommended.

Lol
I'll give these recommendations a shot. I knew the movie selections were pretty much garbage, but damn.....I can barely get any to come up at all. What a turd.

Your recommendations get outta whack when you watch a lot of the same genre for a while. I tend to go through periods where all it offers is anime. Go here and drop your standup and documentaries down to "never"...
