Aaron Murray
I've been getting laughed at on CP all offseason when I try to suggest we have our QBOTF on our team already.
I'm not crowning him, but this guy is not Stanzi/Croyle/Printers etc. He's not a joke that should just be dismissed. He's a legit talent and has the "it" factor to succeed at this level. It doesn't hurt that he's a perfect fit for Reid's offense and gets to sit and learn behind two guys like Smith and Daniel. If Dorsey hit on that pick he's going down as a ****ing LEGEND. |

I'm not sure anyone was laughing at you.

I agree. He had all of the marks coming out of college. Some really great QBs sat on the bench for a few years (Young, Rogers). I think Murray sitting for 2-3 years could really help him and I agree with you that he may be our QBOTF. Maybe not but he certainly has looked it this game.

Murray looked great when he didn't try to make a play when there was no play to be made.
He surprised me tonight. He looks good. |

Maybe with Chases preseason performance and then AS tonight he felt pressure to perform. Think he will be fine. Watched more closely for signs his injury did not heal properly and only noticed 1 limp. Good sign with improved play after first series! |

There were some pretty bad throws mixed in. Not sure what you're so excited about. He could be a below-average backup in this league.

He's had limited reps. This isn't a surprise.

Slow down, high speed. There are a select few that are Murray haters, and (surprise, surprise) they're the same select folks that hate Alex Smith and want nothing but a first round QB drafted by KC.
Lots of us have hope for him. |

No I think they are the same folks that lick up Alexs man seed. Almost eveyone wants a homegrown QB we can call our own. The Alexsexuals do not.
