Sorry to start a new thread for this.
Was just curious, after realizing that's who this 505 Chief Dumbass is, why he was banned before, and why he's allowed back.

FTR I'm not asking for him to be banned.
I could care less, and am not a fan banning anyone when you can just ignore them.
I just really can't remember what happened with him.

I know he's been banned multiple times, and I'm pretty sure some of his usernames are perma-banned.

Does anyone remember?

He's not banned for the same reason so many others aren't. Dude is TAME compared to what he was before. We've generally always allowed guys to reform and fit in on the board if they were willing to put in the effort. Particularly interesting people. Love or hate him, he's very interesting.

No. He's a douche that loves to talk shit about me. Which is totally fine. I'm working on staying away from moderating when it involves people that involve personal issues. I can be emotional, and I just do everything I can to not make emotional moderating decisions. Every dumpster fire I've started as a mod started out because of that, so I pass that shit to the rest of the team. Everyone is better for it.

I really do hope you know I was trying to be funny, and not a condescending douche in any way with the Lil' Chiefy comment.

I don't even remember. He was way more over the top in the beginning, and I'm pretty sure it was Bob Dole who dumped his ass over and over, and Bob Dole RARELY does permabans. The last time, I'm pretty sure he left on his own because he was mad about a Phobia decision. Don't recall exactly though. I was pretty drunk for a couple of years there.

As long as someone learns to moderate their in your face name calling antagonistic posting style, they should be welcome back.

I'm against banning except in extreme circumstances. Posting racial hate etc.

I've got into it with shitsprayer many times in DC. He is real. No BS. He believes what he says and walks the talk. I totally disagree with his positions but respect him for living his beliefs. He brings something to the board that's not here now.

Hootie and shitsprayer have shorter leashes for mod action than say DartGod but beyond that........ we don't need to agree with or read everyone's posts on here. Just put them on ignore. This has always been a "spicy" low moderated board. I don't want that to change. There are other boards more closely moderated if you prefer that style.

Just use the ignore function.
