So remember the last time we played the Patriots?

We had THIS GUY as our starting QB.

That's what this franchise does to you. It gives you 5 unwatchable games of Tyler Palko (2 of which were played during PRIME TIME ) so that when the franchise disappoints you by never looking to the draft to try to find a starting QB, it justifies its actions with, "But look how far we've come at the position since 2011!"

Eh there's video of the 2005 game where GREG WESLEY and SAMMY KNIGHT picked off Brady three times.

I prefer that memory to the Palko game where Leonard Pope drew a penalty for legally blocking Julian Eddelman because said block resulted in a pancake or to the 2004 MNF game where some nasal voiced Pats fan sat right behind me and Discuss Dad and cheered only for Corey Dillon all ****ing night.

Or in 2002 where Priest Holmes had near 200 all-purpose yards, but the Chiefs defense decided to ignore Troy Brown the whole game and lost.

My favorite is probably the MNF game where we made a great comeback in the 4th quarter, and Grbac threw some idiotic pass to a guy in the middle of the field at like the 5 yard line, with no timeouts and only a few seconds left. Think it was like 2000. Will never forget the look on Grbac's face after that play.

My second favorite is the game where we broke Tom Brady's leg.

If I'm not mistaken, we haven't beaten them since 1999, when Vinatieri missed a short field goal at the end of the game at Arrowhead.

We beat them in 2005, as mentioned above. Brady threw like 5 picks, which is still his worst for a game, I believe.

Did we? I don't remember.

That was Vermeil's final season when we went 10-6 and missed the playoffs on the last day. We lost so many heartbreaking games that year (especially the Eagles and Cowboys games) that it figures I wouldn't remember something like Brady falling apart.

There are a handful of people that can vouch for me on this, but I got in Tom Brady's head in that game. We sat in 136 in row 6 (right behind the patriots bench) and I was calling Tom out all day and repeating things over and over (like "that's a lot of red, Tom" and "don't try to throw deep on us, it's gonna float" haha) that got to him. He even looked back at me more than once to acknowledge it. Right after he threw his helmet down and berated Troy Brown (iirc it was brown) he looked back at me and looked down and I swear everyone in 136 offered to buy me a beer.

That was the best time I ever had at Arrowhead.
