Andy Reid on Sirius NFL Radio
Coach Reid was just on Sirius NFL Radio with Pat Kirwan and Tim Ryan. A lot of the same things we've already heard, but a few interesting/funny things:
On RAC: Great guy. One of the best. One oversized human being replacing another. Said he fit in the chair nicely. Joked that he found a bag of Cheetos RAC left behind. On Clark/Hunt Family: Knew Lamar really well, didn't know much of Clark, but had 9 hours to get acquainted. Clark drilled him in interview, described him as quiet but intense. On the coaching staff: As far as coordinators are concerned, he's tackling the DC first. Just started making calls today. Realizes we're set up to play 34, might stay with it. He did say he brought in some non-coordinator candidates today. Said there is a huge advantage being the first HC hired this offseason. Pool of assistants is still big. Once Andy hung up, both hosts speculated that we'd stick with the 34 and hire Ray Horton. |

But are they basing their speculation on anything? Because I think that is a good hire. |

Mike Jurecki @mikejurecki No RT @Jacobs71: Think the Cards will let Horton out of his contract if Haley is hired? |

Ray Horton at DC, along with a QB drafted first overall, would make this offseason a grand ****ing slam.
