Favorite movie based on a comic book

with the Fantastic Four coming out in the summer, it got me thinking about my favorites. these include; Batman (with Jack Nicholson as the Joker;Spawn; and The Crow.

I would have to say the best movies based off comic books would be the X-men movies. Those movies were absolutely great. If you like Japanese anime, a movie series named Berserk is incredible.

I loved that series.. Was pissed they did not finish the anime.. Was told it got too violent... and there was some rape/sex scenes at the end... I dont know why japanesse people are so obesed with sex in anime.. The Berserker had some great fight scenes... ala ninja scroll.....

Watching 'kyo deeper samuri' right now...

agree with the X-Men. also liked both Spiderman movies. Superman II was the best of the series.

Is Sin City based on a comic book? It looks like it is going to be a great movie.

Daredevil?!! Seiously?! Admittedly, I only saw the last 20 or so minutes of it but it was awful- painful, really. Horribly written and miscast.

I liked it so I included it in my list, your miles may vary.

I did fail to mention Superman though, I like Micheal Keetan (sp?) as Superman.

I have the Punisher and it was ok also. I really didnt want to list them all.
