***Official draft Davis Webb in the 2nd....***
Because let's be real, we aren't drafting a QB in the 1st and Dorsey has a solid track record of drafting A QB from Cal.
TJ Watt in the 1st. Webb in the 2nd. Smith-Webb-Bray Join me! |

Trade back to the second, draft Webb with 2-1, and a RB/LB with 2-2.
Then we should have about 3 thirds at that point, and we can get nasty with it.

Only 4 year contract in the 2nd and then you risk someone else getting your guy if you wait like the Chiefs always do.

Got beat out by Mahomes at Tech, really doubt he's any smarter or competitive than Mahomes or Watson. He's a poor man's Goff. I'm out.

He has pro-style experience, though, which I think Dorsey values.

I don't care how well Dorsey has done at other positions but to eliminate non-nfl offense qbs is wrong. You cant dismiss 90% of the qbs off the top. It reminds me of the old days when people wanted to move black qbs to different positions because the offense style was different. |

Meh. Troy Aikman got beat out by Jamelle Holieway at Oklahoma (sort of). I don't know if that by itself is a valid reason to eliminate a guy.

well, holliway was a total badass, so cant really fault them there. why they even recruited aikman is what still to this day puzzles me. no way he could run that offense, and i have a hard time seeing them completely shift philosophies for a home grown okie qb.

The only true freshman to win a national title. And you're correct, Aikman in the option was never going to work.
