Late Night Bull. Am I crazy OR.........
Am I crazy, or should drivers get some type of reward for never, never, never, ever, ever, ever once having to call a car insurance company and ask for help?
Not even a fender bender or anything. Nothing that would cost any insurer anything. Sure, I may have gotten some tickets over the years. And apparently that practically guarantees me of getting in a car wreck in the near future, according to their statistics. Been driving for almost 18 years now. Never once been in the slightest tiny bit of an accident. Not one time. Ever. But yet, a state revision last year caused my insurance to go up from $250 for 6 months to $300. I thought it was bullshit for the $50 and I called to bitch. Then I got a traffic violation (WHICH I PAID FOR, not the insurance company) for an improper lane change. And I paid the $100. Not them. And that caused my insurance to go from $300 for 6 months to $450 for 6 months. I called to bitch again and they sent me a letter telling me of my horrific driving record of ZERO ****ING ACCIDENTS EVER IN ALMOST 18 YEARS but that ticket man....that ticket It's been over a year since that ticket. Still not an accident. How many tickets have I gotten before that? ONE from 1999 - 2012 ONE 2 when I was 16. 2 in the past 15 years. THIS IS BULLSHIT I'm sorry. But this is bullshit. I am forced to give away $830 per year for a car thats not even worth that with min coverage except medical. I'm pissed. I think I deserve a god damn discount without having some spy shit in my car, or progressives snapshot program. I think all that should matter is how many times you need money from the people you have to give money to. If the answer is ZERO dollars in 18 years. YOU SHOULD GET A ****ING DISCOUNT. |

when you think about it. It's corruption.
How much money over the years have I been FORCED to give away to? I have no idea right now, but it's probably a good $20,000+ over the years. FORCED to give $20K with nothing in return. and that goes for everyone. Keeping the people down so a few can get rich. |

I'd be pissed about the increase of rates on a ticket as well if you've been with them for all of those years. I mean a lot of insurers will forgive an accident after X number of years so to increase you based on a ticket is shit. I'm saying that assuming you've been with an insurer for a long period. If you just switched a year or two ago then that's probably out the window. |

I think that for every 10 years you go without needing insurance but paid for it. You should get half of your money back.
It shouldn't be about your ****ing zip code. It obviously doesn't affect me, I'm obviously in the 1% for driving. Getting a ****ing ticket obviously doesn't increase my chances of getting in an accident. |

Your zip code (where you drive) obviously impacts the potential risk of insuring you. You live in the Boston area? I'm a pretty aggressive driver, but that town is ****ing nuts To them, your ticket DOES increase your chances of causing an accident--you're now seen as a bigger risk. |

If you never, ever, ever, ever....never have to get money from the insurance company, I guess they can reward you in the afterlife.

Just go without insurance then. That should fix your problem.
