Hope everyone still appreciates Tamba after today

The guy looked like he was in his 20's today. He had 3 times where he just barely missed Ryan on quick passes, he had a sack and he's was beating Jake Matthews pretty good before he got hurt.

Tamba has been really good the last 2 weeks.

It was worth the money to keep this guy

He had a good day. Indoors and on turf. We'll see how he does Thursday on a frozen field. My hope is Dee Ford and Houston will be on the field together more than they aren't.

I can only recall 1 series of plays when both players where on the field at the same time, played the run and didn't rush the passer.

Yeah. I love Tamba. It's one of the true failures in life if the Chiefs don't reward him with a Super Bowl win. He is all that is right about sport.

And he prison raped the LT today. It was embarrassing. Really the only time he looked old was on Ryan's run in the 4th quarter.

The Chiefs path to the SB starts with the pass rush. We have no choice but to appreciate him, and them.

Houston. Ford. Hali. Poe. Jones. They are the key imo. The secondary will continue their bend don't break style. They will give up some plays, but they will damn sure make some too, especially if the front 4 is getting after it.

Falcons certainly use Mack because they run very successfully up the middle all day.

I've always appreciated Hali because when he's not on the field, Zombo is.

Zombo is only percentage points better than Sabby Piscatelli.

Zombie had a big stop today.

That said, it's going to suck when the day comes that 91 isn't opposite 50.

I'm gonna miss that too. But Dee Ford and possibly Dadi Nicolas have a really good chance to fill his role.

He was all over the field today no question about it... almost made me wonder if there wasnt something about that particular indoor field that really agreed with his knees

Does ATL have one of those good ones with tiny chips of used tires underneath?

Dude - all artificial surfaces have that going back 10-15 years....

I believe the answer is that they do. Atlanta's current home has Field Turf, which is one of the newer generation artificial turf surfaces that uses infill to give the athletes better footing. According to Field Turf's webiste, their infill uses cryogenic rubber that comes from recycled tires: http://www.fieldturf.com/en/artifici...eld-recycling/

Atlanta's new stadium (for 2017) will use a product from GreenFields that is the first to pass the NFL BEAST test requirements. http://www.espn.com/blog/atlanta-fal...ic-turf-system

Georgia is home to major players in the carpet and artificial turf industry. There's even a town in Georgia that is called the "carpet capital of the world", https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dalton,_Georgia. There's lot of artificial turf manufacturing and engineering expertise there, from what I understand, so it makes sense that the Falcons have nice home surfaces.
