Storage Wars was real, but they are adding a ton of fake elements to it. It is the most entertaining of them all IMO, but it sure looks to be scripted more lately. |

I agree. The "reality" shows are no longer anything but just plain Hollywood crap. As someone else said above, I just can`t see "moonshining" as a high priority for law enforcement anymore. Here in NorCal they don`t even give a crap about the Mex pot cartels that are taking over the national forrests. Would love to have our military train in Shasta-Trinity and Mendocino County with "live" ammo and clean this crap up once and for all.

All I have ever seen is the previews and I can tell it's staged. How long would those guys be around if it was "real?" The feds wouldn't drop in and haul them off, noooooooo waaaaaaaaaay.

National Geographic channel had a show--American Weed-- where they followed Colorado marijuana growers, and none of them got busted. I know, because I'm in that business and I know a lot of those people. What they do--and what the tv show aired--was real. Marijuana is still illegal per federal law and growing over 100 plants is an automatic felony. The growers on that show had hundreds and hundreds of plants and they're still business as usual.
