The Chiefs, who have a close connection to FC Bayern Munich, have reportedly pushed the NFL internally to play in Munich and get the "home rights" -- meaning they'd forfeit a home game at Arrowhead Stadium.
Yet somehow ticket prices next season will still be the same or higher this coming season despite losing a game.

I think that's the point of the 17 game schedule.

An NFL team doesn't drop below 8 home games using this model.

Of course, this wouldn't be so bad if we already didn't get shafted by playing 9 road games last year.

How does this make sense?

We were supposed to play the Bucs on the road, so they’d be the ones forfeiting the home game.

What am I missing?

I think the article mentioned that about the Chiefs incidentally. It seems the Bucs will have a home game, and the Chiefs might be their opponent. Then it mentions that the Chiefs have lobbied to be the home team in a game in Germany. In other words, it's kinda pointless to bring that aspect up, but they did. It makes the article confusing.

OR...I don't know what I'm talking about. Which is exceedingly likely so...

I care about two things. The turf being in good condition to play on and we curb stomp Bucs dicks into that turf.
