What is the best Android tablet in the $200-300 range?
I'm looking to get my kiddo a new tablet (Android) in the $200-300 range, but wondered what the collective wisdom of CP considered the best given those parameters. I've looked at the Nexus 7, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8, Galaxy Note 8, and LG G Pad. They all have their pros and cons. What say you?
Thanks Fat E |

Nexus 7 is great and cheap. Can't imagine a reason to get anything else.

I have an Asus Transformer. I highly recommend that you do a comparison of one to the other androids you have in mind. It gets nothing but great reviews.

I believe you can get the 32gb version for $299 now and the keyboard dock for another $40.

I had a transformer prime. Speeds bogged down after awhile. Ended up using my phone more often. Luckily the power port broke and I had the best buy accident warranty. It was discontinued so I got to pick anything in the store. Got two nexus 7's and warranties for each. Never looked back.
