I don't think Derek Carr is going to amount to much in the NFL. So, I'd stick with what we have. Alex gives us a better shot to win now, although it's still a longshot.

Carr got screwed going to the Raiders but he has great potential and is a natural leader

What? The raiders that just added Crabtree and Cooper? He's going to be fine.

I watched Carr throw a beautiful deep ball last night. Complete. 50 yard gain or something.
So at least he has that going for him...which is more than Alex can say.

The same people who scrutinize Alex Smith for not throwing it down field want a guy who had a 5.5 YPA last year. Carr is one of the most overhyped QB's I've seen. He has a chance to be solid, but I don't ever see him as a top 10 guy

Seriously though how can a qb play for as long as Alex has and not able to throw it deep. I mean how the **** was he the number one overall pick.

Would definitely take Carr for Alex. He survived behind a swisscheese line as a rookie and had nothing for targets. He's going to look better with Hudson snapping to him and finally a go to WR in Cooper. Oakland is still gonna lose a lot tho because their secondary is comedy level bad and I can't believe they drafted that dumb corner in the first round.
QBR is dogshit and hootie has terrible opinions. That is all. |
