His last disastrous start aside, Vargas is still on pace to finish one of the best starting pitching seasons in franchise history. You can't help but want the guy to win it every time he's on the mound. He will certainly be missed next year.
Go Royals. |

I honestly had no idea Hawk Harrelson went from broadcaster to GM for the White Sox and fired Tony LaRusa and traded Bobby Bonilla in his one season as GM. What a turd.

Alright, Vargy has been lit up his last 2 outings. Melky just put one off the wall. Time to knock that shit off.

So who's the Blonde and her husband that are always behind home plate ? Obviously related to a player. She always looks like she doesn't want to be there .

I know because I used to have season tickets there and all the Wives and visiting families sat there. I pissed off some lady relative of Gordon's once when I griped about him hitting into a DP. I wasn't griping about him per say but the offense in general. She was miffed. |

I understand baseball players are used to playing in the scorching sun, but these last couple of weeks have been atrocious. It's 99 degrees out here and feels like 199. That definitely effects the players.
