I would be fine with that. But I really don't think that it would be that long. Nobody goes more than 5 years at a time anymore. At the rate salaries are increasing, it'll probably be more like 5 years and $180-$200million

I once figured it out that it would be in both his best interest and the interest of the Chiefs to structure a contract where he makes a set percentage of the salary cap (I think like 16%) over the course of any contract. Given the rate of salary cap expansion and a projected career of at least 15 years, he could pull in around $750M and still have plenty of cap room to surround him with playmakers.

Lifetime contract that's 5% higher than the current highest paid QB and rights to PM III

I would say it will be a "as long as Andy is my coach, I'm staying."
When Andy leaves, I bet he flies the coop. Andy just secured his job as long as he wants it.

Probably 45 to 50 mil per year
His impact is far beyond just the field. Every hs qb will be trying to emulate his game. Baseball may even see a revival as well 50 mil per year would be a discount imo |
