Chiefs Kelce on Dan Patrick

Highlights of their call this morning:

- Travis is a big Cavs fan and can still list the starting 5 when they were a bunch of JAGs.

- Didn't think the Cavs quit out of a lack of effort, but just had a series of games where they could do nothing right and the Warriors who did just the opposite. He likened the series to a 2014/2015 (?) game against the Donks where the Chiefs got blown out at home.

- Was shamed into realizing he should have gotten Smith a parting gift but has no clue what to get him.

- When asked who is the best TE in the league: "Travis Kelce." Complementary of Gronk (given their similar stat performances) and Zach Ertz.

- Has been surprised by the muster Mahomes has on his passes in both velocity and ball placement.

- Is part of some deal with Cigna to try and limit opioids for pain management.

Seems like he was meaning from back when they were a bunch of scrubs. However long ago that was idk.

I can still name all 11 starters from the 03-05 defenses we had.

But I mainly remember them out of spite.

When Greg Wesley shops at my wifes store I always assume he's whiffing and going down the wrong aisle.

Hey, I apologized, then I deleted.

I admit it's hypertechnical, and not even English per se.

We English speakers tend to abuse the French colloquialism a la, but it's not like we're taught to use it properly or its origin. Even in native French, there's a bit of discourse over whether our Anglicization to something like 'a la [year]' is; a misuse, simply stilted, technically OK, or just fine.
