Alex Smith trade media dump thread

Post your random little juicy nuggets regarding this trade. I want to savor the Keitzmann meltdowns, the Cowherd head shaking, and anything and everything else in between.

Marcus Peters posted "11" on his Twitter yesterday.

Obviously a tribute to ASS11, right?!?!

Well, hmm...get this... Kendall Fuller's number in college was....11!!! Marcus Peters's new partner in crime is Fuller, former #11 at VT.

I mean, Peters is the dude who was tweeting a war or so ago, complaining about how the dunk and dunk shit won't win Super Bowls. Just got me thinking...

Well it seems Ian Rapport doesn't agree with the fans who are saying the Chiefs got over on the Redskins. He feels Alex is one of the best QBs in the NFL. He was just interviewed on Good Morning America and has said as much. I totally agree with him. Well you got your wish.

I wish SVP was still on the radio. His commentary would be ... well... we’ll call it pointed methinks.

Smith is not a game changer that elevates those around him. That means he's a bottom half of the league QB. Hes not anything special.

Smith never tried to put teams away. Mahomes looks for the kill and the first down all the time. He had to play that way in college and will now. His ability is going to be electric and exciting.

I've already seen a bunch of that.

"We trade the top rated passer for a 3rd round pick and some CB, how awful"

"This is stupid 5-11 here we come"

Casual fan is a moron.

Basically what that trade shows you is that even an "ok" QB has a huge amount of trade value. Because the guys who work in front offices or have in the past are acting like this trade is a normal move.
