It hasn't been said lately but Kareem Hunt is a bad ass
I think his skill has been lost due to Smith ruining the season and getting him stuffed all over the place. I am massively happy to have him. With Mahomes stretching the field we will see Hunt kick ass when defenses will no longer be able to play five yards off the ball and have to actually defend the whole field.

I wish they'd make him the focal point of the offense instead of constantly running cockimimmy plays to force the ball in to Hill's hands. Everything would work better if the QB was under center and we gave Hunt 25-30 carries a game. Every player on the offense would be put in a better position to succeed.

Is he? Or is he not being put in a position to succeed? I think he is the main person Andy was referring to in his presser. Abandoning the run early and running out of the shotgun and pistol does not help his cause. When we were at our best he was blowing it up in the fourth quarter.

I'll agree with the OL but Smitty has nothing to do with Hunt struggling. Charles tore it up here with Matt Cassel as his QB and the defense constantly stacking the line...

Hunt is a rookie. He is still learning but he's definitely hit a rookie wall. It is mostly the run blocking but there's been times I've seen him hesitate longer than I'd like to hit a hole.

Hopefully Hunt/Oline can turn things around these upcoming weeks.

Hunt is the only player on offense who plays at a high level every game. And he doesn't get any stupid penalties like Kelce did. Problem is he gets screwed by a terrible offensive line (how many yards would Levon Bell get with his blocking...probably nothing) and a conservative quarterback. Likewise, Kelce is screwed by his quarterback.

If we had a decent offensive line and quarterback we'd be steamrolling the NFL.
