Looking Ahead to Week 2 vs the Eagles
1) Eric Berry's MRI will be tomorrow if they didn't already do an ultrasound on him tonight. Should know by tomorrow afternoon what the diagnosis is.
1b) We'll get to see what Eric Murray has to offer, he has the attributes to be a solid free safety

2) Tyreek had cramps or maybe pulled a hamstring, hopefully the extra days of rest help him out. He showed he has what it takes to be a #1 receiver tonight.

3) Reid gets a mini-bye week to plan for the showdown with The Eagles and our former OC. Advantage Chiefs.

4) Kareem Hunt jerseys are going to fly off the racks. But this was a playoff level type game tonight so we should expect to see West get more action to offset the load thru the regular season. Hopefully Charcnado's offseason conditioning pays off.

5) Where were the screen passes? - This playbook is extremely creative. Hopefully some of the overly cute plays get cut out. In the big picture, a 40/60 run/pass combination for the rest of the season like 2015 is the right way to go.

6) Chris Conley - gets a pass tonight as he was draped by Stephon Gilmore (who's basically a clone of Richard Sherman). I'm predicting a 4 catch/60 yard game for him at Arrowhead.

7) Somebody get Kelce a therapist so he quits acting like a moron out there

8) Reid kept the pedal to the metal despite having that lead in the 4th and it was beautiful to watch. Clock management was solid to end the half.

9) Bennie Logan came as advertised and drew double teams on those 4th down stops. Run defense already looks much improved.

10) special teams will bounce back and the penalties shouldn't be an issue going forward. This team will learn from its mistakes. Witzmann had a great showing despite his couple of blunders at LG

Forgot to mention...Smith stood tall in that pocket tonight and it paid off for the team. O-line looked awesome. Smith took some big hits being patient in there too

I'm sold on that bunch almost completely. I think it's all starting to click.

If the entire offense can stay relatively healthy, we might be really good there this year. Not many teams have 3 playmakers like Kelce, Hill, and Hunt at 3 different positions. Smith, for now, has done all we can ask of him and then some.
