Now that the offseason is in full swing, we'll be hitting FA in less than 2 months. Here's a list of FA's:

We should be able to create some $$ after cuts to pursue a few guys. Anyone you have in mind?

After looking at the list, here are some guys I think the Chiefs could get for a decent price that they should look into:

Markus Wheaton WR- Steelers
Marquise Goodwin WR-Bills
Chance Warmack G-Titans
Akeem Ayers ILB-Colts

Bring Berry back for the same deal and honey badger
Let Poe walk and get a nice comp pick in 18
Extend Mitchell, LDT and Howard.
Cut Charles, Sherman, Reid and Colquitt (maybe extend Colquitt and sign Charles to a cheap deal)

Trade Alex Smith
Cut Nick Foles

Sign/Trade for Rivers or Romo

Chad Kelly won't be drafted and if he is, it'll be very late, like 6th or 7th round.

Hightower isn't leaving the Patriots.

After perusing the entire free agent list, I'm not interested in any player, other than Vet Minimum players that won't count against the 53 until Game 1, and there's not many of those that I see as upgrades.

The Chiefs need to re-sign Berry and extend Poe. Trade or cut Alex Smith, renegotiate Foles to a 3 year front loaded deal and draft a QB in the 1st round.

Jah Reid, Dustin Colquitt and Josh Mauga can hit the road. I'd be fine with releasing Hali, too, but it's not likely to happen.

I think Kelly is going to surprise you where he goes. I dont think he falls farther than the 4th worst case. I also think he's the best QB in the draft.
He will have to sit, but he's gonna be a gamer IMO....I've been wrong before...

I think we'll see extensions for Berry, Foles, Colquitt, Ford and T. Mitchell this offseason. Poe will get the tag of he stays.

It's interesting that John Dorsey was going after Jerrell Freeman last year. That tells me that John saw this as a problem before the season even started and everyone was healthy.

Zombo, Mauga and Reid need to all be cut

I wouldn't mind if they took a run at Malcolm Smith, Prince Amukamara or Stephone Gilmore but they don't really have the cash for that without making some pretty deep cuts.
