We've got 55 places in the tournament now, and I'll randomly mix them up. Keeping in mind the home itself, the specific location, and the city/state, pick the place that you prefer.

My rankings: It was a really tough call between Washington and Alabama, and I also strongly considered Idaho.

Washington - Awesome house, but it's relatively small in this category and not in a walkable area. In the end, though, it's probably a winner because I like the Washington climate.

Alabama - Incredible unit with great views. It's not convenient to stuff and it's in Alabama, but it's still really good. That part of Alabama is probably okay.

Idaho - Great house and it's reasonably close to stuff, but I bet it's pretty cold there in the winter.

New York (upstate) - The proximity to NYC is cool, but the house doesn't quite stand up to some of the others.

Mississippi - Nice place with acreage, but it's a little out of its league against some of these other places.

I like this format because climate plays such a big role in my selection. I just couldn't get excited about picking between five properties in Idaho.

Alabama for me but Washington and Idaho were nice as well.

Pretty sure the Mississippi home is the site of the next Friday the 13th.

I'm curious how this will go. I picked a house that was great, but not my favorite, primarily because of climate and culture. I almost picked Alabama because the house is incredible, but the more I thought about hot summers and fried foods, the more my opinion swayed toward Washington.

I picked Washington too. But I'm worried about all that precipitation with my wife getting blue on rainy days. I might have to switch to Alabama.

Washington, and the Pacific Northwest in general, is ****ing beautiful. With the mountains, abundant woodlands and water you've got it all, but that's the main reason I chose Alabama over WAS. I get really affected by rainy/overcast weather. I feel like I'd spend a lot of my time in a down mood.

Maybe I'd feel different in Washington after a couple of years, but I like rain. We don't get much here in Colorado, and I kind of miss the big storms that would roll through when I was growing up in Missouri.

My rankings ended up the same as yours and for the same reasons. The Alabama property is awesome but... Alabama. I'll take the Pacific Northwest.

This is the first time that I have opened one of these threads. I refused to even care about it until the offseason. So tell me, what is the story behind this game? What are we trying to do?

For me it's between Washington and Idaho. I like the Idaho home and property much better, but to spend the rest of my life I think I'd have to go with Washington because of the access to Vancouver and Seattle, etc.

Washington, Idaho, and Alabama are all neck-in-neck

I'll give Washington a go.
