Biggest FA or Draft bust?

I follow the Chiefs, Orioles, NY Rangers, and Celtics. IMO, the biggest bust for each are:

Chiefs - Blackledge. But there have been some bad ones. Cassel. Bell. Saivii. Dorsey. Sims. Williams. Hill. To name a few.
Orioles - Glenn Davis. Adam Loewan.
NY Rangers - Kovalev. Drury. Lindros. Jagr.
Celtics - Len Bias.

What you got?

Lew Bush always springs to mind to me as a colossal free agency bust. He had a good reputation in San Diego, and then he came to Kansas City and I'm almost positive that I would have been more productive. That had to be a coaching or system issue unless his plane to KC ran into a big cloud of ineptness.

His free agency twin, of course, is Kendrell Bell. I swear that he somehow got 3 inches shorter and 50 pounds later on the flight to Kansas City. I'd see him on the field and he looked like a dwarf.

Trezelle Jenkins jumped out at me, but I have a clarifying question.

Is a draft bust based solely on draft position, or is it also based on expectations? Maybe it's only the position, but I think everyone looked quizzically at the Trezelle pick when it happened. It wasn't like Ryan Sims where the consensus among everyone was that he was a good pick. So is Jenkins really a bust, or did we all kind of just hope for the best but didn't expect it?

Bell was the first one that I thought of. Gunther was so excited to get him and his whole time here was a huge disappointment.

Vonnie Holliday was another one. I was excited when KC signed him. He had three sacks his first game with the Chiefs, if I remember correctly, and nothing after that. He just disappeared for the rest of his time in KC.

Don't get me started on Hugh Douglas.

Good question. In my eyes, it's draft position. If Mahomes doesn't turn out to be above average (Alex Smith) he'll be considered a bust based on draft position, no?

After the Chiefs gave him a huge payday and got extra FAT jerseys made for him- he did nothing but eat KC barbque until he could not fit out of the tunnel.

Never sign Fader retreads-ever.

Dan Williams- hurt his back signing a mega million dollar contract and only put on his uniform once to stand on the sidelines. Salary Cap killer.

Ryan Simms- lazy fat pos we never should have drafted. Zero impact.

Warren Moon- hit his wife more than he did Chiefs receivers with passes.

Mighty Mouse- the smallest player to ever play in the NFL- Mugsy Bogues used to look down on him. Out jumped by anyone and everyone.
