Heard Billy set some record in Oakland as the first player to record a hit in each if his first 10 games with the A's. Good for Billy, now kill that streak...

A lot better than Gore, at least. I'm not sure if he's ready, but he's been OPS'ing .800 in the high minors.

What is the Royals typical policy on tickets for games that have been rained out? I have four tickets to Sunday's game and it doesn't look like it will be played.

At least for the rained out ALCS games last year, your ticket for the rained out game works at the rescheduled game.

During the regular season, usually your ticket becomes a rain check that you can exchange for similar tickets for a different game.

In the playoffs, its only good for the next game, and you have to sell it if you can't go.

Wonder what the story is on Gore getting jettisoned after just two games. Was he a Twins-specific callup? Did Ned conclude the fifth OF might actually have to bat at some point? Did Gore do something to piss someone off?

Also interesting that Orlando, not Dyson, is starting in RF vs. Gray. Maybe because Orlando has more experience in RF than Dyson, who was a tad shaky there in Minnesota?
