Beloved: Your Favorite Chiefs. Round 2: Receiver Finals

In Round 2, we bring together all of the survivors from each position group and pick our favorite three.

So that's the rule: pick your FAVORITE three players on this list.

As a technicality, there was only one heat of specialists, so Dustin Colquitt, Jan Stenerud, and Nick Lowery all move on to Round 3 where we start competing across position groups.

I went with:

#1 - Otis Taylor. My sentimental choice. Throughout much of my childhood, Otis was the guy that I pretended I was.

#2 - Stephone Paige. He's right up there with Otis. He was graceful, always got open, and never dropped the ball. I enjoyed watching him play.

#3 - Dante Hall. I had a hard time picking my #3 spot, but finally went with the X factor. I kind of like those little shifty guys.

I'll be thrilled if Stephone Paige moves on to the next round. I thought I was the only one who truly appreciated him, but it seems that he was quite popular.

No offense, but I just noticed the Chiefs have a pretty piss poor receiver pool to work with.

In fact, there are no Chiefs Receivers in the Pro Football Hall Of Fame.

The inclusion of a TE shows just how sad this group is. Johnie Morton?!? Andre Rison?!? Ouch...

Taylor, Paige, Gonzo. Hurt not to vote for Hall, but I never really liked him as a receiver. He's a special teams guy.

Hey, anybody remember that time that the Chiefs beat the Chargers in week 17 with Chase Daniel and piss poor wide receivers and kept SD out of the playoffs?

Ah Timmy, you're so easily offended.
Keep rubbing your 45 year old rusted trophy in Chargers fans faces. Remember the last time the Chiefs won a playoff game?
