Android device battery drain
I'm not sure what changed but I have three android devices, two tablets and a phone, that just starting going through more battery drain than normal this week. I haven't changed anything I am doing so I figure there must be a app or process that has been updated.

Just curious if anyone else is having issues with battery life this week.

I've run a couple task killers but am not seeing anything running that hasn't always been running. Primarily facebook, messenger, google voice and my texting app. I've been running this way for months so nothing new going on on them.

I have a phone and tablet. Haven't noticed anything. I don't run any task killers or battery savers.

Nothing here. I've never done any kind of task killer.

Anything showing up in your battery settings men? That's the first place to look, though it's not always terribly informative.

Haven't noticed anything bad on battery drain with a tablet I have been using with lollipop for a while.

I use Wakelock Detector, which has been pretty useful at figuring out battery drain issues.

Did you get an update? That is what did it to mine.

Let me put on my tinfoil hate, everytime my phone is ready for upgrade all of sudden the battery life cuts out to half of what it used to be. Even new batteries do not work, hell when I had the note 2, I use to be able to have it plugged in, play games and it charged. Then even plugged in it lost power while playing the same game. Only thing different on the phones were the updates.

nope, no system updates yet. the next one isn't scheduled till May for Lollipop.
