Thoughts after the first drive today in Buffalo?

So, we know it's tough to play in Buffalo. We come out on offense after a touchback.

Very first play Charles is surrounded by defenders as soon as he receives the hand off. I'm thinking "Holy **** that was quick."

Second play Charles is once again surrounded by the time he gets the handoff. This time I'm thinking a number of things:

1. Buffalo's front seven is sickening.
2. They've had the bye week and are way more prepared than us.
3. Buffalo's front seven is ridiculous.
4. Andy is going to abandon the run.

Third play was a seven yard pass to Fasano. I don't recall if there was immediate pressure, but I assume there was.

Was anybody else extremely worried after that three and out?

Feel free to post pics and gifs of your reaction to the first drive.

When I got back to the house it was 7-3 and NOTHING was working on offense, I'd be a liar to say I wasnt a little worried, they were jailbreaking our line pretty much every play, their crowd was roaring... it didnt look real good.

The key for this team isn't the start of the game. It's the 3rd quarter. If we suck opening up the 2nd half, then I'd get worried.

Second drive was the exact same. I thought it was going to be a long game.

hahaha...I figured. To be fair though, that's most game threads, sometimes even whe we have a lead.

Also. it seemed like this game had been debated a bit more this week than previous games. Definitely high tension going in to kickoff.

My initial thought was that after those first two plays, Reid would abandon the running game and go one dimensional, and we would lose the game.

He pretty much did that, and Alex got beat up today, 6 sacks, a few big shots as he threw, and running for his life in general, BUT we didn't lose the game.

Charles only had 15 carries, and a couple of those were simply to make the Bills burn timeouts.

I never would have thought the Chiefs would have won such a one dimensional contest, but a couple big things went our way.

1. Dwayne Bowe's 8 catches for 90+ yards.

2. Huge special teams play to set up the offense at the Buffalo 25.

Andy gets impatient and just abandons the run for passes all the time and if that continues, Alex Smith is going to be in pretty rough shape come season's end.

This.

We were still one play away from tying the game, regardless of how stout their defense was. When we went down two scores, then I thought our ship was sunk.
