I would have to make it more than just about the game. I'd stay in London in a hotel until gameday, then check out and go to the game, and afterwards head for the Cotswolds. If I visit England other than just changing planes at Heathrow then I will make a trek to Cheddar and seek out the sharpest, tangiest cheddar of them all. I'd hit a few pubs as well, of course.

If I started saving now I could but I've been to England many times and wouldn't have money to do much else once I got there.

Can I? Sure...would I...no. Not even once. Probably wouldn't go of a full ride.

Since the NFL is stealing home game revenue and taxes from the states and locales with this...I wonder if Government could do something about it.

Not a chance. It would be an awesome adventure for sure, but one that is just going to have to remain a dream.

I'm turning in airline miles.
Using hotel points. So my only costs will be game tickets and food. London is expensive. I wonder how much the tickets will be???? |

I would fly over there to watch the Open, but a trans-Atlantic flight to see an over-priced watered down product in the NFL. No thanks.

If you're literally just going for the game, then I bet you could do it for around $4k. Flights will run you around $1,200-$1,500, tickets maybe a few hundred, and a couple nights in a hotel plus restaurants.
But if you're flying to London, one would think you'd want to do more than watch a football game you could watch for $300 total with a better atmosphere in KC. |
