Baumgarner had a historical run in the playoffs and World Series, and we still nearly pulled it out. It sucks hard we lost, but I am so proud of this team. So, so happy to be a true baseball fan again for a season.
That being said, they should have ****ing sent Alex Gordon, especially the way Baumgarner was mowing us down. |

well we were hands down the better overall team, and I don't think most Giant fans would argue with that. They just have possibly the best player in postseason history playing for them and that one person beat us, not their team.
Giants without him are a C/C+ team, with him they are an A. Switch him for Shields and we sweep the entire postseason and don't even play the Giants in the World Series. We were the better team, so even though we don't have the trophy there is solace in knowing that. Great run Royals, great run!!! |
