Royals World Series Vegas Odds

Being someone who is 40 years old and having limited knowledge of the Royals when they were truly good, its suriel to see them as the favorates 6/5 to win the whole thing. Seems like Vegas feels very good about them, or at least that's where the money is going.

I think being favored is mostly simply because the Royals are up 2-0. SF is up 1-0. The other two teams are obviously down 0-2 and 0-1.

Therefore, the Royals have the best chance of advancing to the WS, which of course is the first step in winning it.

Also, the casual fan's money probably is going to KC in somewhat of a bandwagon effect.

Holyshit 30 to 1. Wow. Reminds me of this friend of a friend i knew who put down 200 bucks at the beginning of the 08 season on KU to win it all. Kid won like 2k or something ridiculous

Maybe, but this is Vegas. Real money being put down. They historically get it right down the middle. And they win. No BS. No fan spin. I'm sure they are factoring in more than X's and 0'S. The "hot" team in the playoffs has a proven track record of success. That has to be a part of Vegas's numbers.

The Royals deserve to be the #1 seed. The favorite. They earned it the old fashioned way.
