Yeah, but at least they're OUR Belgians.
I'm sure they'll charge about $14 for one of these, and it'll be Bud Light with red food coloring in it. If I want a "Kingdom Red Ale" I'll shoot some Crown, then down an ice cold tomato juice with a beer depth charge. Tailgaters don't need no "official beer of the Chiefs" that ain't made in KC. I say, BOYCOTT! |

You said it. Boycott ALL things the Chiefs sell. Including tickets.

There's a guy at work, he bitches at me for driving a nissan because it's not American.
He drives a ford, made in Mexico, drinks bud, product of Belgium, and worst of all, he is ignorant to the fact that American profit does not mean American jobs. Ohh well. Back to my yuengling. |

All I'll say is that it's silly if you're actually upset at the Chiefs for this. There are a thousand valid reasons that Boulevard mightn't be the provider of this beer for the Chiefs.

Yeah, pretty much this. I don't know of any major sports venue I've ever been to that has a craft beer as their #1 option.

I guess it could have been worse, could have been Killian's Red from Denver.
I think AB just whipped out the 2002 formula for this crap: http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/29/7202/ Last edited by gblowfish; 09-06-2014 at 10:11 PM.. |
